Connecting students with nature for a sustainable future
Sal’s vision for Green School is to inspire a global movement toward nature-based education and sustainable living. Sal believes education should create positive impacts on the planet rather than merely preparing students for exams. Set in a beautiful jungle environment, Green School fosters relationships and emphasises experiential, hands-on learning. Their pedagogical framework includes authentic learning experiences that connect students to real-world challenges. Programs like ‘Seeds to Table’ teach students about food sustainability through gardening and student-run initiatives.

“There seems to be a growing disconnect between humans and the natural environment, and I firmly believe that reconnecting humans of all ages is a first step in a sustainable future.”
