Senior Advisor for Learning Ventures Jacobs Foundation

Libby Hills co-leads a global edtech investment portfolio at the Jacobs Foundation. Libby’s interest is in bringing together technology, research, and education. She has published academic research on edtech and AI in leading journals and conferences. Libby also co-founded and co-hosts a podcast about AI called Ed-Technical. Libby has been working in education for over 15 years. This includes as a teacher on the Teach First programme in the UK, Chief Technical Officer for an award-winning network of low-cost private schools, and on the board of Lively Minds, a fast-growing education charity. Libby holds an MSc Education focused on emerging technologies and AI from the University of Oxford, an MSc in Social Business from LSE and a BA from King’s College London. She also has two teaching qualifications, including as an Advanced Skills Teacher.
