Encouraging student activism for environmental change
Wendy is passionate about the environment, and drives climate action in her school. She collaborates with geography and art teachers, and involves students in a range of activities, from recycling projects to SDG-themed mask-making. These projects culminate in advocacy events, including marches and public demonstrations. Wendy uses innovative strategies like educational TikTok, and creates inclusive classroom activities, to help engage all students, especially shy ones. Her students’ activism promotes environmental change and fosters a sense of global responsibility.
