Sanna Järvelä is a professor of learning sciences and educational technology and leads the Learning and Educational Technology Research Unit (LET) at the University of Oulu, Finland. Järvelä and her team are exploring regulation in collaborative groups that are using multimodal methods and examining how intelligent technologies can be used to understand and support learning. Järvelä is co-PI of CELLA (the Center for Learning and Living with AI), which is funded by the Jacobs Foundation.
