Sabine Gysi
Former/founding Editor in Chief, BOLD

Sabine Gysi has a background in communications strategy and program development. After working for a multinational company, an agency startup, a think tank, as well as media outlets and cultural institutions, she joined the Jacobs Foundation in March 2016. Intrigued by the world of science communication and the profound transformation it is undergoing, Sabine Gysi was dedicated to conceptualizing, operating and developing BOLD, the Foundation’s Blog on Learning and Development as its founding Editor-in-Chief. In August 2020, she handed over the Editor-in-Chief role to Gemma Wirz. Sabine Gysi left the Jacobs Foundation in October 2020.
