Jane Leer

Jane Leer
Assistant Professor of Psychology, San Diego State University

Jane Leer is a tenure-track professor at San Diego State University (SDSU) and faculty in the joint Clinical Psychology PhD program at the University of California, San Diego and SDSU. Her research examines social contexts of child and adolescent development, with a focus on poverty and inequality. She was previously an applied researcher at the Inter-American Development Bank and Save the Children US where she conducted impact evaluations of education programs globally. Her current research examines neighborhood and housing effects on youth health disparities, in partnership with community organizations and social service agencies.
