Samaya uses Karkhana’s innovative STEAM toolkits to teach students in private schools and remote public schools. Despite challenging conditions like a lack of furniture, Samaya’s enthusiasm and practical approach shines through. Through hands-on learning, students engage directly with materials to understand concepts like measurement and basic robotics. Instead of focusing on complex end products, Samaya prioritises critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. His workshops align with the national curriculum and aim to equip students with essential 21st century skills by fostering a practical, problem-solving mindset.

“The most important thing is that we can’t do the work alone. We need a team, we need to know how to work in a group – that means collaboration.”
