Cheryl is a middle school teacher with experience in Trinidad and the US. She observes that children in elementary school need more modeling and examples, while older children in middle and high school should work more independently, with parents providing support, encouragement, and regular conversations. She believes that parents should consider the child’s developmental stage and help them feel comfortable socially and academically. Cheryl encourages parents to be present for their children both socially and academically, supporting their growth and confidence.
