Enzil Cooper

Enzil teaches beyond traditional content to prepare students for real-world experiences. For instance, his drama exercises help students explore emotions and personal boundaries through nonverbal communication, fostering deeper understanding and empathy. Enzil sees this approach as essential for developing global competence, encouraging students to act locally while maintaining a global perspective.

Enzil Cooper is a drama and performing arts teacher at Saint Andrew’s International School in Nassau, in the Bahamas. Enzil currently teaches upper secondary students doing the International Baccalaureate diploma, but he previously worked in public schools in his country for years. He is passionate about project-based learning and holistic approaches.
