Chaitra works with Teach For All, a global network of partners in 64 countries, to develop student leadership. Education, in her view, should empower students to shape a better future, with collective leadership playing a key role in transforming learning environments. Beyond placing committed teachers in marginalized communities, Teach For All runs initiatives that help students address gender inequity, conflict, and climate change. The network also elevates student voices through platforms like the Student Leadership Advisory Council and the UN General Assembly. The Teaching as Collective Leadership framework offers educators actionable strategies to cultivate leadership in the classroom. To prepare students for an uncertain future, Chaitra believes that education must continue evolving, focusing on collaboration and real-world impact.
