Shauna-Kay J. Jorandby

Shauna-Kay Jorandby is an educator and leader with over 20 years of experience dedicated to supporting students’ academic and personal success. She currently serves as the Director of Student Well-being in Montgomery County Public Schools. Previously, she was the Director of Student Engagement and Behavioral Health, where she worked with schools across the district to strengthen student support structures through direct mental health services and community partnerships.

Throughout her career, Shauna-Kay has focused on preparing students to be future ready. She has served as a middle school principal, assistant principal, staff development teacher and EML teacher, as well as an elementary school specialist, team leader and classroom teacher. She believes that all students should have the opportunity to be their best selves.

Outside of her professional role, Shauna-Kay enjoys spending time with her family, seeking new adventures and reading.
