Rich Daker

Founder, Pinpoint Learning

Rich Daker is an applied learning scientist and research consultant. His research focuses on the barriers students face to doing their best and how to overcome them. His philosophy is that it is crucial to understand why a student is struggling if we want the best chance to help them. In addition to his research, he is the founder of Pinpoint Learning, which develops tools to help educators get a better sense of the “why” behind any student struggles. He also works directly with students and their families to pinpoint what’s holding a student back from doing their best and what research says can be done about it. He earned his PhD in psychology and cognitive neuroscience at Georgetown University.
