Moria Sokolowski
Assistant Professor of Psychology, Toronto Metropolitan University

Moriah Sokolowski is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University and Adjunct Scientist at Rotman Research Institute, where she was previously a Banting Postdoctoral Fellow. She directs the NeuroIDEA Lab, where she combines behavioural methods and neuroimaging to understand learning variability and brain development. She earned her MSc and PhD from Western University, where she received the Governor General’s Gold Medal for her doctoral thesis. She has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles and has delivered more than 40 academic, community, and industry presentations. Honours include the APS Rising Star Award and the 2026-2028 Jacobs-CIFAR Research Fellowship.
