Christina Areizaga Barbieri is currently a Research Scientist at Temple University, United States. Her research focuses on the evaluation and application of principles of cognition and learning to improve mathematical competencies, especially for students who struggle with mathematics. Dr. Barbieri was an Institute of Education Sciences Postdoctoral Fellow (2015 – 2017). She looks forward to beginning an Assistant Professorship at the University of Delaware in the College of Education and Human Development in fall 2018.
