Carrie Palmquist is an assistant professor of developmental psychology at Amherst College. Her research explores children’s proclivity to teach and learn from others. In particular, she studies the circumstances under which children are most open to learning from others, and how children use others’ characteristics and previous behavior as indicators of who will be a better source of information in the future.
