Bethany Lassetter is a Postdoctoral Associate at New York University. She examines how children and adults think about themselves and each other, and tests how those perceptions guide intergroup processes such as prejudice and discrimination. Her research uses theory from social and developmental psychology as well as mixed methods and diverse analytic tools to contribute to the study of intergroup relations. Her research has been published in top journals, including Psychological Review and the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.
