Emanuele Fedeli is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Sociology and Quantitative Methods at the Department of Social and Political Sciences, University of Milan, where he works on the Horizon Europe LEARN project and is affiliated with the EqualScope Research Centre. His research examines classroom peer effects, educational inequality, and social stratification, combining large-scale administrative datasets with causal inference methods to understand how schools and public policies shape educational and labour market opportunities. He has been awarded two VisitINPS Fellowships as Principal Investigator to study childcare policies, labour market inequalities, and the child penalty using linked administrative data. He has published in European Societies, European Sociological Review, Quality & Quantity, Social Indicators Research, and the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies.
