Marilyn N. Ahun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at McGill University, and a Principal Investigator at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre. After obtaining a Bachelor’s in Honors Psychology at McGill University, she went on to complete a PhD in Public Health at École de Santé Publique de l’Université de Montréal, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Global Health at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research examines how the early environment impacts child and youth mental health, including how we can optimize interventions and services to promote mental health across the lifespan. Marilyn is a 2026-2028 Jacobs CIFAR Research Fellow.
