Julie Yang is a longtime Montgomery County resident and public servant committed to strengthening opportunity and well-being for all. She currently serves on the Montgomery County Board of Education and was Board President last year, overseeing one of the county’s largest public institutions, managing major budgets, setting policy, and guiding long-term planning.
Julie’s leadership is grounded in experience as a teacher, data analyst, and counselor, shaping her belief in evidence-based decisions and compassion-centered leadership. She has also served as a PTA leader, Rotarian, 4-H member, and nonprofit board member, always focused on service, inclusion, and community strength.
