Sanja works at Greenfield International School in Dubai, where wellbeing is a core pillar of the school’s approach. Through the IB Wellbeing Action Research Program, her school developed digital wellbeing strategies and policies with student input. Sanja sees a link between teacher wellbeing and student success, and tries to raise awareness of mental health. She believes that a restorative approach fosters strong teacher-student relationships and a supportive school atmosphere. Sanja advises listeners to prioritize self-care, reflect, and find balance in a fast-paced world.

Sanja Vičević Ivanović (PhD) is the Primary Years Programme (PYP) Coordinator at Greenfield International School in Dubai. With over 15 years of experience in education, she has held various roles, including specialist teacher, head of department, teacher trainer, school director, and researcher. After graduating from the University of Zagreb in Croatia with a double major in Italian Language and Literature and German Language and Literature, she completed her PhD in Language Teaching. She is multilingual with a deep understanding of diverse cultural practices.
