When teachers learn from their students
Ganiyat teaches in a low-income community in Nigeria. She faces challenges such as inadequate educational materials for her 42 learners. Ganiyat participates in the Teach For All collective teaching and leadership research project. Participating has transformed her role as a teacher, allowing her to learn from her students and accept feedback. Ganiyat sees the power of community in education. She once help out a sleep-deprived student by visiting the student’s guardian and working together to find a solution.
