Plamina Dimanova
Plamina Dimanova is a postdoctoral research associate working in the Developmental Neuroscience Unit at the Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development, University of Zurich. During her PhD studies, Plamina’s work focused on the corticolimbic circuitry, a brain network that supports emotion-related processes. She studied the association between corticolimbic circuitry and emotion regulation and wellbeing, with a special focus on intergenerational transfer from parents to their children. In her current projects, she is continuing to investigate the corticolimbic tract and how various aspects of an individual’s social environment influence corticolimbic development. She is also interested in multi-brain studies in a broader context.
