What is EEG?
What can brainwaves tell us about how children pay attention and what supports their learning?
This three-part series is written by Paul Matusz, Assistant Professor at HES-SO Valais-Wallis and Adjunct Professor at Vanderbilt University. Paul is an experimental psychologist and cognitive neuroscientist who studies how children process information in real-world environments. Using electroencephalography (EEG), he explores attention, learning, and multi-sensory processing, and how these processes relate to cognitive development.
Through the series, Paul shares EEG research insights that reveal how children learn and show how brain imaging can deepen our understanding of learning.
