Sandra L. Calvert is Professor of Psychology at Georgetown University, United States, and Director of the Children’s Digital Media Center, a multi-site interdisciplinary research center funded by multiple grants from the National Science Foundation and several private foundations. Professor Calvert is a fellow of Division 7 of the American Psychological Association and a fellow of the International Communication Association. She has served on two committees for the National Academies, on a task force for the American Psychological Association, and on numerous advisory boards to improve the quality of children’s media.
