Mirjam Habegger studied psychology at the University of Zurich and is currently a PhD student in the Developmental Neuroscience Unit at the Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development, and the Department of Economics. Mirjam is investigating the impact of stress on the development of networks associated with emotion processing and regulation and examines how changes in these networks affect mental health and resilience to future experiences. Mirjam is part of the Hochschulmedizin Zurich (HMZ) flagship project STRESS, an interdisciplinary and interinstitutional initiative. Between her master’s and doctoral studies, she worked as a clinical neuropsychologist at the University Hospital of Zurich and the City Hospital of Zurich.
