Ellis Stevelink is a quality coordinator at a primary school in the Netherlands. She supports teachers in strengthening their (didactic) knowledge and skills. Central to her work is the exploration of how students learn and the influence teachers have on this process. Her conviction is that all students have the ability to learn. To deepen this understanding, Ellis completed the Master’s program Learning and Innovation. During this study, she became fascinated by metacognition and the impact it can have on student learning. Since then, this interest has been an important source of inspiration in her work and educational vision.
