Matti Kaarlela

Doctoral Candidate, University of Oulu

Matti Kaarlela is a PhD student at the LET Lab – Learning and Educational Technology Research Lab at the University of Oulu. With an MA in Education, he focuses on self-regulated learning (SRL) in human-AI collaboration, exploring how individual differences shape learning processes. Currently, he contributes to the Center for Learning and Living with AI (CELLA), investigating ways to support self-awareness and agency in young learners as they engage with AI.
