Shruti Athavale

Shruti Athavale is a research fellow at the Chair of Teaching and Learning with Digital Media, TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology, Technical University of Munich. With a background in clinical psychology from Savitribai Phule Pune University in India and a Master’s in Learning Sciences from Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Shruti’s work spans psychology, digital media, and education sciences. Her research interests include instructional design and strategies, metacognition, self-regulated learning, and the role of AI in education. Currently, she contributes to the CELLA project, focusing on adaptive support to train and enhance self-regulated learning for young learners in online environments.
