Farida went through a transformative journey from a struggling student to a dedicated teacher for girls with special needs in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a child, Farida felt invisible and incapable until a history teacher recognised her potential, inspiring her to pursue a career in education. As a teacher Farida focused on students with severe learning difficulties, using storytelling to build confidence and address challenges. Farida helped a dyslexic student regain self-esteem through narrative-driven lessons. Farida has meaningful impact and supports each student’s unique journey.

“I told her [mother] that your daughter is like a gift that is wrapped in gold paper. But this paper is too thick, and it needs careful unwrapping. By the time you unwrap her potential, you will see a star inside that golden box.”
