Josafá da Cunha is a Professor in the School of Education at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), and the coordinator of the Interagir Centre at UFPR. He is also a past Coordinator of the Centre for African-Brazilian Studies at UFPR. He coordinated the development of DIGA, a school-based program focused on enhancing civic development, and partners with the Brazilian Ministry of Education’s national School Coexistence Week. He is an Associate Editor at the Journal of Research on Adolescence, with work that bridges research and policy to promote positive development among children and adolescents.
